Good Job Joel. It will be much more pleasant to come here now without all the trash. I hope this finds you enjoying Life and not working too hard. I just installed the new Windows 7RC and want to see if Hott Notes works on it. I will let ya known how it goes, I still have Vista on another hard drive,

Keep smiling - It make folks wounder what you are up to!!!

Hi Joel,

I'm a long time Hott Notes user. Great little program. I'm inquiring about a feature that I'd like to see. Given the program is free, I'll understand if you don't want to put any more work into it.

What I'd like to be able to do is set the program up so I can enter day plans, appointments, anniversaries, etc, and have the program automatically boot up with this info every day at a specified time. The trigger for this should be based on the calendar day from the computer, not on boot up (I leave my computer on most nights).

This may be a quantum leap for this program. I'm not a programmer. It just seems like a logical extension. Just a thought. Meanwhile, I'll keep using Hott Notes as it is. Many thanks.

Hi There,

I am new to Hott Notes and before losing all my notes, I was very pleased with the product. My problem started when I tried resizing one of my notes. This caused the program to crash so I had to reinstall the program. Unfortunately, the re-installation did not bring back my notes. Does anybody have an answer to this yet. How can I restore my lost notes and what file type has been allocated to Hott Notes?

I look forward to your replies.

Cheers!

Do a search on your C:\ drive for notes.xml. It depends which OS you use as to where it is.
See if any of those finds contain your notes. Thats how hottnotes stores notes.

Greetings Mr. Joel, Just stopped by to download for the install on my new computer build. { Intel i5-750 cpu and lots of more, She is fast. LOL} Good to see you are still "kickin around". Hope all is good in your part of this World. Hott Notes runs just fine on Windows 7 for me.
